This is one of my favorite go to spots, coming here for years.

This place is as no frills as you can get. There is no dining on site. Everything is prepared to go. Arriola's is known for their Tamales... and masa preparada. Which means prepared masa that is used for making tamales, they also sell prepared Chile paste. I have not been able to find a place in the San Jose area that does.

Their tamale boats are popular, I go for the super nachos and burritos. Their Chile Colorado is excellent.

Arriola's salsa is unique, they put oregano in it. This gives it a flavor that makes it stand out against your traditional salsas

The chips get the chips. They are famous for their chips. It's super crunchy. Perfect for chilaquiles and nachos. I'm really not a huge fan of their salsa. It has oregano in it that's why.

The chips are perfectly seasoned with salt. It's sold in huge bags. Please support small business by supporting them. They also sell variety of other foods as well. Affordable prices to boot.

My favorite chips and salsa ever! Love that they have maintained a family owned business through the generations.
